Jeep reveals new Renegade in New York
The Jeep Renegade, set for UK release in 2015, has been proudly put on display at this year's New York Auto Show.
It is based in part on the Fiat 500L as it utilises the engines and production environment of the Italian brand. However, it is a much more muscular and robust beast.
Although a little bit shorter than your standard Jeep creation, it still packs the same levels of versatile performance that its siblings offer.
One of the engine choices available is a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated petrol powertrain, delivering 184 bhp. It is also set to be available in either front or four-wheel drive depending on your needs.
Delivered in luminous orange in the Big Apple, it will certainly stand out in the crowd at the event on colour alone. However, Jeep lovers will be enticed by the power provided in such a compact package.
