Meet The Latest Audi SQ2
The all-new athletic and striking Audi SQ2 has been revealed. It’s now sharper, more intelligent and more agile than ever before.
The new Audi SQ2 has had a bit of a makeover so that it’s set for 2021. From technology and performance to comfort and looks, the latest SQ2 has a tremendous amount of appeal.
There will be three trims available to choose from for the new SQ2. Audi fans can pick between the standard SQ2, the Black Edition or the Vorsprung variant, priced from £38,900 as the on-the-road price.
How It Looks
The all-new Audi SQ2’s exterior is striking from any angle. Its upgrade includes enhanced headlights that contribute to the vehicle’s overall confident presence.
The SQ2 and SQ2 Black Edition models are set to host the standard Audi LED headlights, whilst the new SQ2 Vorsprung sports the brand’s Matrix LED units.
The standard LED headlights have seven individual LEDs that deliver an intelligently combined high beam light, which always illuminates the roads as brightly as possible, without blinding other drivers and road users.
The latest SQ2 will be available in a choice of seven colours, and its C-pillar is even offered in two contrasting shades: a standard Platinum Grey, Brilliant Black, or alternatively, in the chosen body colour.
How It Moves
In terms of performance, the 2.0 TFSI engine powering the new generation SQ2 draws its 300PS output from 1,984 cm of displacement, formulating a peak torque of 400 Nm.
The new Audi SQ2 will be capable of sprinting from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.9 seconds! It will be able to achieve a top speed of 155 mph.
The 2.0 TFSI engine works in harmony with a seven-speed S tronic transmission found in the top-tier Q2. The ultra-fast dual-clutch transmission allows you to switch from Drive mode to a more performance focused Sport mode seamlessly.
For those that like to control the power themselves, the new SQ2 offers manual shifting through the lever or the steering wheel-mounted paddles.
How It Is Inside
The upgraded SQ2 offers an interior that matches its striking, bold and confident exterior.
The new SQ2 and SQ2 Black Edition has front sport seats upholstered in a mix of Alcantara and premium black leather.
Inside the SQ2 Vorsprung, the sports seats are fully upholstered with Fine Nappa leather, which provide abundant support through electronically adjustable lumbar support.
In terms of on-board tech, the new SQ2 includes a rear-view camera to complement the all-round parking sensors.
Audi’s innovative fully digital virtual cockpit, with a 12.3-inch Binnacle Display, the brand’s MMI Navigation and an 8.3-inch monitor (controllable via rotary pushbutton or voice control), all offer a hub of helpful driver assistance and infotainment.
The all-new SQ2 is available to order now, deliveries of all variants is set to begin in early 2021.
