MINI Convertible Voted Carbuyer's 'Best Convertible' Once Again
Although it may not feel like the prime time of year to get the roof down, MINI is certainly celebrating the convertible after scooping another impressive award win.
The MINI Convertible took ‘Best Convertible’ at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2022, which is the fifth consecutive year it has won the award. The vehicle also drove away with a win in the ‘Best Used Convertible’ category.

The MINI Convertible is priced from £21,305 (OTR) and is available in three powerful, efficient engine options. The Cooper has a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder engine which delivers 136hp, the Cooper S has a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine with 178hp, and the John Cooper Works has an output of 170kW or 231 hp from the same engine – the most powerful option.
The MINI Convertible is well equipped, packed with plenty of high-level equipment as standard, including an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, Bluetooth functionality with USB audio, LED mood lighting and the very handy Rear Park Distance Control (PDC) tool.
When you do want to let the sun in, the fully electric roof can open and close in just 18 seconds!
