The Rt Hon Jesse Norman, MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire, met with colleagues from two Vertu Motors dealerships in Hereford to celebrate more than 600 years long service.

The colleagues working at Vertu Hereford Volkswagen and Vertu Hereford Audi include service advisors, sales executives, technicians, drivers, workshop and parts advisors, in addition to an accountant.

Thirty colleagues have each clocked up more than 10 years service, with 21 of those reaching 15 years or more. Workshop Controllers David Trew and Paul Griffiths have 37 and 32 years service respectively.

Both at Vertu Hereford Audi, Aftersales Manager Colin Barker has been awarded for 34 years of service, whilst Sales Executive Julian Preston celebrates 29 years of service.

Robert Forrester, Chief Executive of Vertu Motors, said: For many of our colleagues in Hereford, these long service awards are a tremendous achievement. They are a testament to the commitment of our dealerships teams.

I believe it also demonstrates that our Group values its colleagues and offers exceptional personal and professional development, and a career path that can span not just years, but decades.

I d like to congratulate every single colleague celebrating a milestone, and I would also like to thank the Rt Hon Jesse Norman MP, for taking the time out of his busy schedule to help make this a very special occasion.

Rt Hon Jesse Norman, MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire, said : "These Vertu Motors dealerships form a great Herefordshire institution. It was a great honour for me to meet so many of the colleagues there, to celebrate their long and dedicated service, and to be able to thank each of them personally for their contribution."
