The Ford Puma continues to be the best-selling new car in the UK after the data for new car registrations for November was revealed.
The Puma, the EV version of which is subject to Band 1 discounts under the Electric Car Grant, was the only model in the month to shift more than 4,000 units and has cemented its position as the top model of the year as a result.
More than 50,000 new Pumas have now hit the road in the UK this year, with the Kia Sportage continuing to hold second spot.
Just under 5,000 fewer Kias have been registered this year although the Sportage remains comfortably clear of the Nissan Qashqai, which was third both across the month and for the year to date.
The Volkswagen Golf was the top-selling non-SUV during the month of November but it is the Vauxhall Corsa that tops the year to date figures in fourth place overall.
