What are the best used cars to drive in New Milton?

For the A337 towards Lymington:

A hybrid car can be a sensible choice if you often use the A337, where local traffic can build before the route opens up through the New Forest. A hybrid comes into its own on the local sections before the New Forest opens up, so it's worth considering if your week mixes town driving with longer trips.

For town-centre parking:

A compact hatchback can make regular parking around New Milton easier to manage. At Osborne Road car park, use a low-speed manoeuvre to find out whether the camera and sensor alerts make the space behind the car easy for you to judge.

For carrying family or leisure equipment:

If weekends often involve longer drives across the New Forest or trips with extra luggage, an estate gives you a more usable load area without moving to a larger vehicle. Check the boot with your usual bags, pushchair, or outdoor equipment before choosing.
