Overview of the New CUPRA Formentor
The CUPRA Formentor was the first car designed specifically for the CUPRA brand, and it remains its sporty, expressive heart. Its low, muscular coupe-SUV silhouette is marked by distinctive copper detailing, a full-width light bar and a rear diffuser, giving it real road presence. Inside, a driver-focused cabin blends sports seats with a large 12.9-inch touchscreen.
Choice defines the range. The 1.5-litre petrol and eTSI mild hybrid keep running costs sensible, the plug-in e-HYBRID offers up to 78 miles of electric driving with zero tailpipe emissions whilst driving on electric, and the VZ models bring serious pace, up to a 333PS 2.0-litre with 4Drive all-wheel drive. Every version uses an automatic gearbox except the entry petrol manual.
Practicality is well judged for the class. The petrol models offer a 450-litre boot, while the plug-in e-HYBRID provides 345 litres to make room for its battery. A digital cockpit, CUPRA Connect services and a wireless phone charger feature across the range, keeping technology front and centre.

Inside the Formentor, the focus is firmly on the driver. A 10.25-inch digital cockpit sits ahead of you, with a large 12.9-inch touchscreen running navigation, voice control and wireless Apple CarPlay at the centre of the dashboard.
