The appeal of the latest generation Volkswagen T-Roc has been widened following the addition of a brand-new ‘Match’ trim level that offers a generous specification at a great value price.
Slotting in above the entry-level ‘Life’ grade, the Volkswagen T-Roc Match ups the kit levels while keeping the price pinned at an affordable £32,135*.
For that, the T-Roc Match gets 18-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, VW’s Digital Cockpit Pro, IDA voice assistance, a navigation system, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Under the bonnet, the T-Roc Match comes with VW’s venerable 1.5-litre eTSI mild-hybrid petrol engine mated to a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
This is available with the choice of either 115bhp or 148bhp, which return up to 50.7mpg or 50.4mpg respectively. Those hoping for a full hybrid powertrain will have to wait until that joins the range next year.
