For the first time, the Stonic line-up will include 'GT-Line', 'Connect' and 'GT-Line S' models. Kia are making sure there's something for everyone, with even a 48-volt mild hybrid Stonic to be introduced.

Kia's Stonic is not an SUV that likes to be upstaged too, and so for the 2021, the updated compact sports utility vehicle will be available in six even brighter and more colourful paint hues.

The new mild-hybrid Stonic will host Kia's latest 'EcoDynamics+' technology, to ensure the best efficiency is paired with the vehicle's exceptional performance.

A compact 48-volt lithium-ion battery pack combines the engine's torque output with electric power, extending engine 'off time' with a new Mild Hybrid Starter Generator (MHSG) unit. This shrinks the car's carbon footprint, whilst lowering running costs too.

The new EcoDynamics+ powertrain comes with the 118bhp version of the new Stonic engine, along with a Drive Mode Select system, to let owners customise their driving experience with 'Eco', 'Sport' and 'Normal' modes.

The latest Stonic boasts newly designed full LED headlamps on 'GT-Line', and 'GT-Line S' models, while on the inside, in addition to the new larger 8-inch touchscreen, the driver is also offered a new (higher-resolution) 4.2-inch digital display in the instrument cluster.

An incredible state-of-the-art navigation system, combined with Kia's new Phase II UVO Connect technology, will also be standard on 'GT-Line', 'Connect' and 'GT-Line S' editions.

Kia's UVO Connect's Phase II system provides drivers with several new benefits, such as more accurate journey times and 'last-mile' navigation assistance, as well as a range of features to enhance connectivity and usability. These can be accessed through an enhanced UVO smartphone app or via the car's touchscreen.

'GT-Line' models will feature a black rear spoiler, with integrated high-mounted brake light.

The 'GT-Line S' versions feature a rear spoiler painted in body colour and unique 17-inch alloy wheels. A 'GT-Line' emblem will sit on the rear tailgate to complete the exterior makeover.

Other advanced technology features include rear parking sensors and a reversing camera system, with 'GT-Line S' models also featuring front parking sensors.
