Motability Scheme Live isn't coming to Harrogate this year - but the good news is there's still a brilliant event you won't want to miss.
This September, the Motability Scheme's flagship event heads to the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.
Doors open on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 2026, from 9am to 4pm both days.
What's on at the event?
This is your chance to explore the full Motability Scheme in one place, all under one roof.
You'll find more than 60 cars, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs), and adaptations on display.
You can also take a test drive in standard cars, adapted vehicles, and electric vehicles (EVs), either behind the wheel yourself or as a passenger with a qualified professional driver.
Motability Scheme advisors and partners are on hand throughout the day to answer your questions.
There are also more than 35 scooters and powered wheelchairs to view and test drive, plus a dedicated Adaptation and WAV Hub to help you find the right solution for your needs.
Planning your visit
The Royal Highland Centre sits next to Edinburgh Airport, just minutes from the M8 and M9, and the venue is all on one level.
Free designated parking is available for all visitors, with a shuttle service running between the car park and the main entrances.
If you prefer public transport, Edinburgh Trams run every seven minutes between 6.18am and 10.48pm, with a journey time of around 30 minutes from the city centre.
The event is designed to be as accessible and inclusive as possible, with facilities including a High Dependency Unit with ramp, hoist, and lift access, additional accessible toilets, a quiet space, and ear defenders available to borrow.
If you'd prefer a quieter visit, arriving between 2pm and 4pm is recommended.
