New Volkswagen up! set to premiere at the Geneva Motor Show
Due to be unvieled at the Geneva Motor Show, the smallest car in the Volkswagen line up has been given a makeover, and is more colourful and sharper than ever.
In May, the second generation up! is due to be launched in Europe, and features a redesigned body, an expanded range of colours, new wheels, more options for customisation, as well as an on-board entertainment system. There are four different trim levels available, all of which are packed with more standard equipment than ever, including LED license plate lighting, customised dashboards, and newly developed ambient lighting.
The new engine has been significantly overhauled, now boasting a significant boost to performance and torque. The two engines on offer are the 1.0 litre TSI with 89PS, and the zero emission e-up!, which generates 81bhp.
For more than five years, the up! has been one of the highest selling small cars in the European market, as well as enjoying success in countries such as Brazil, Japan, and South Africa.
