New Kia Cars for Sale & on Finance

The new Kia range runs from the compact Picanto to the seven-seat EV9, and every model, regardless of price or powertrain, carries the same 7-year, 100,000-mile warranty as standard. Choose the Sportage or Niro and you can pick petrol, hybrid, or plug-in hybrid power on the same trim, so electrification never forces a compromise on space or seating. Whether you're after a straightforward city car or Kia's fastest-charging EV6, that warranty backing follows you whichever model you choose.

New Kia Cars at Vertu

Kia's UK range now spans 13 models under one banner, Movement that inspires, taking in everything from the compact Picanto to the seven-seat EV9. Whichever powertrain you're after, petrol, self-charging hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or fully electric, you'll find it somewhere in the current Kia car range.

Electrification runs right through that range rather than sitting at one end of it. You can choose a Kia hybrid or plug-in hybrid Sportage, Niro or Sorento alongside the petrol option, while EV2 through EV9 put pure Kia electric car driving within reach, from city runabout to family flagship. It means choosing a new Kia electric car rarely forces a compromise on size or seating.

Every model in that range, regardless of powertrain, carries Kia's 7-year, 100,000-mile warranty as standard. That cover applies from the Picanto upwards rather than being reserved for a flagship trim, and it sits alongside a separate 8-year/100,000-mile EV battery warranty on every electrified model. Few mainstream manufacturers match that as a baseline, and it's warranty confidence you can feel from the moment you turn the key.

At Vertu, our colleagues can talk you through the full new Kia range and help you find the right Kia car for your budget and daily drive.

What Are Kia Cars Like to Drive?

The current range splits naturally by size and use, and the character shifts accordingly, from an easy city car through to a genuinely capable seven-seat SUV.

City & Compact Cars

The Picanto keeps things simple: a 1.0-litre petrol engine, five seats, and a boot that expands from 255 litres to 1,010 litres with the rear bench folded. It's the easiest way into a Kia small car, built for tight parking and short runs rather than motorway miles.

The EV2 is Kia's first dedicated compact electric vehicle, built around three ideas: Smart, Spacious, and Charged. On Air trim, you get up to 275 miles WLTP combined from the 61.0kWh battery, plus a 362-litre boot with the rear seats up, useful space for a car this size. It's a straightforward answer for anyone wanting a Kia compact car without stepping up to a larger EV. Between the two, they prove that starting small doesn't mean starting dull.

Family Hatchbacks & Crossovers

K4 is Kia's newest hatchback, offered with a 1.0-litre mild-hybrid or a 1.6-litre petrol engine, and its boot runs to 438 litres on the 1.6-litre car, a genuinely large figure for the class. XCeed brings you the same mild-hybrid and petrol choice in a more crossover-styled body, with up to 1,378 litres available seats-down on the range-topping GT-Line S. Stonic completes the trio as the smallest of the three, its 1.0-litre mild-hybrid returning up to 51.3mpg while still giving you 1,155 litres with the rear seats folded. Between them, you get a mild-hybrid or petrol hatchback or crossover to suit however you like your Kia shaped.

Electric Crossovers & SUVs

EV3, EV4, EV5 and EV6 all sit on Kia's E-GMP electric platform, and each adds a front storage frunk to its main boot. EV3 offers up to 375 miles WLTP combined on its 81.4kWh Long Range battery. EV4 goes further still, up to 388 miles WLTP combined, the longest range currently offered anywhere in the Kia electric vehicles line-up, and it comes as either a Hatchback or an aerodynamic Fastback body.

EV5 steps up in size with a 566-litre boot and a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) comes fitted from GT-Line upwards, letting the battery power equipment on-site, and GT-Line S adds Vehicle-to-Home and Vehicle-to-Grid capability on top, opening up the option to power your house. EV6 tops the group for charging speed. DC rapid charging at up to 350kW takes it from 10 to 80% in as little as 18 minutes, and the EV6 GT adds a 641bhp performance flagship above the standard Kia EV range. It's proof that going electric doesn't mean giving up on excitement.

Family SUVs

Sportage now offers its full choice of engines across every trim, so Pure, GT-Line, and GT-Line S buyers can each pick between petrol, self-charging hybrid or plug-in hybrid power rather than having powertrain dictate specification. The plug-in hybrid returns up to 44 miles of electric-only range WLTP on front-wheel drive, and the whole range carries a five-star Euro NCAP rating with an 87% adult occupant score. Boot space runs to 591 litres on the petrol, seats up.

Niro takes that flexibility further, offered as a self-charging hybrid, a plug-in hybrid with up to 40 miles of electric-only range, or a full Kia electric vehicle returning up to 285 miles WLTP combined. Boot space varies by powertrain, up to 1,445 litres folded, and the electric version adds a 20-litre frunk on top of that.

Large & 7-Seat SUVs

Sorento seats seven as standard across its hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and diesel lines, and every version comes with all-wheel drive fitted, useful reassurance for anyone regularly loaded up or towing. Fold every seat flat and you get 1,996 litres of space on the hybrid and diesel, or 1,988 litres on the plug-in hybrid, which also delivers up to 34 miles of electric-only range WLTP.

EV9 is Kia's first all-electric seven-seat SUV, with a single 99.8kWh battery returning up to 349 miles WLTP combined on the rear-wheel drive Air, or 316 miles on the all-wheel drive GT-Line. Charging peaks at 210kW, enough to take the battery from 10 to 80% in around 24 minutes, and the EV9 GT tops the range with 501bhp for anyone wanting seven-seat space without slowing down.

Kia Interior and Technology

Every current Kia shares the same technology building blocks, whichever model you choose, though how much of each you get depends on trim.

EV2, EV3, EV4, EV5, EV9 and K4 all use the same triple-panoramic display layout, branded ccNC on the EV2 and K4, pairing a 12.3-inch driver screen with a 12.3-inch touchscreen navigation display. A separate 5.3-inch climate screen sits alongside, so climate controls stay physically separate from the main screen rather than buried in a menu. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect on every model, wireless on most of the range, and free 7-year Kia Connect runs across the board. That covers live traffic, remote functions, and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, keeping your car's software current without a dealership visit.

Audio steps up by trim: a 6-speaker system is standard across most entry grades, rising to Harman Kardon, JBL, or Meridian branded systems on higher-specification models. Digital Key lets you lock, unlock, and share access to compatible models from your phone. Kia's DriveWise-branded driver assistance systems, covering forward collision avoidance, lane keeping, and smart cruise control, are fitted from entry level on most models. Further systems, such as blind-spot monitoring and parking assistance, are added on higher trims. The result is a cabin that feels considered, not just specified.
